The English Subbuteo Association is proud to announce that this season’s ESA Masters will take place in the spiritual home of English Subbuteo, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on Saturday 16th August 2025, hosted at the prestigious Amelia Scott venue on Mount Pleasant Road.
The ESA Masters is a celebration of excellence, honouring the very best players from across the country in both the Adult and Youth categories. This is the event where titles are earned, legacies are forged, and the next generation of champions rise.
A Venue with Legacy
Following the unforgettable success of the 2024 FISTF and Subbuteo World Cup, the town of Royal Tunbridge Wells has become a beacon of pride and passion for the sport. The return of the ESA Masters to this iconic location is more than just a fixture, it’s a statement. A statement that the legacy of the World Cup continues to thrive, powered by the ongoing collaboration between the English Subbuteo Association, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, and our generous hosts at The Amelia Scott.

Qualification & Format for the Masters Event
This exclusive, invitation-only event will bring together England’s finest:
Adult Category:
The top 10 players from the 2025 English Championships standings after Round 6.
2 wildcard entries, chosen by the ESA Board.
If any of the top 10 are unavailable, the ESA Board will invite the next ranked players until 10 places are filled.
Youth Category:
The top 6 youth players from the English Championships standings after Round 6.
The ESA Board reserves the right to select 1 additional wildcard.
If any of the top 6 are unavailable, the Board will again invite the next eligible players.
