Surrey Saracens Subbuteo Club is part of the growing Subbuteo community in England, offering players of all ages and abilities a place to enjoy the game. Whether you’re brand new and want to learn the basics, a returning player dusting off your old team, or a seasoned competitor looking for regular matches, Surrey Saracens provides a friendly and inclusive environment.

7 - 10 pm
Membership and Fees
We pay £20 for the venue per night so we split this between the attendees

Does the club offer regular casual/friendly meet-ups?
No – this would be at players’ houses arranged separately – although we play socially/casually at our regular meetings
Does the club run its own internal league?
Yes – we will be running a modern rules league for the first time starting September 2025 – but it won’t take over an entire club meeting – we should only need to play a few league games and the rest can be casual
Does the club organise WASPA sanctioned Tournaments?
Yes – Old School Circuit Event 12/4/26 is scheduled and others are more Ad-hoc but we’re planning to run some this season
Does The club host FISTF sanctioned competitions?
We have held a FISTF Satellite – nothing planned currently but we will again in the future

Mixed

Equipment Provided – Does the club provide pitches/teams, or do players bring their own?
We provide pitches – currently 2 Extreme plus 2 Astrobase Pro at the club plus baize can be laid when required. Teams – normally people bring their own but we can provide for new players if needed

Surrey won the Old School team event at Subbuteofest 2025
Previous Surrey achievements as a Club go back to the original Club which was English County champions 3 years in a row in the early 1970s. Current player honours is mainly me – British Table Soccer Champion 1986, current and previous English Old School Circuit Champion, played for England at the World Cup in Rome in 2022. Tony Banks won the Surrey Open in the 1970s before having a short break for 40 odd years!
