Kevin Cordell Claims Victory at Woburn, Round 2 of the TSPA English National Circuit

Round 2 of the TSPA English National Circuit took place on Sunday 1st June 2025 at the picturesque Woburn Hotel in Milton Keynes, bringing together some of the top talents in English Subbuteo for another fiercely contested day of flicking action.



The event was played across five rounds using the Swiss System, ensuring every game was competitive and crucial in the overall standings. After a day of high-quality matches and dramatic moments, it was Kevin Cordell who emerged victorious at the top of the table, Kevin’s composed and clinical performances throughout the day earned him a well-deserved win.

Rudi Peters, the current circuit champion and Round 1 victor, continued his strong form with a second-place finish. His consistent results across both events now place him at the top of the overall standings after two rounds, showing once again why he's the man to beat this season.



In Category B, it was Richard Roper who stood tall, taking home the prize for the highest-finishing Category B player. Richard showed solid form throughout the day and is also the highest cat B player in the overall seasons table.

After two rounds, the overall standings show a tight race developing at the top. Rudi Peters leads the way, with Jeremy Bradley, the event organiser and a consistent performer, sitting in second place. With two more rounds to come, the circuit is wide open, and every point will matter as players chase down the title.



A big thank you to all players who took part, and special credit to Jeremy Bradley for another excellently run event. The Woburn Hotel provided a superb setting for the day's play, and the Subbuteo community continues to thrive with great competition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
