Chris Thomas & Ruby Matthews Are The English Masters

This past Saturday 17th August 2024 saw the cream of the English game gather in Milton Keynes for this seasons English Subbuteo Masters. A field of 12 adults and 3 youth players fort it out to find the Masters Champions. After a fantastic day of Subbuteo Table Football action, it is a massive congratulations to Chris Thomas for winning the Adult Event and Ruby Matthews for winning the Youth.

The Final Group Tables
With Ruby topping the table with four wins from her four games, it was Jamie and Alex who were playing for the second spot, and it was Stanway Rovers player Jamie Warren who's win over Alex pushed him into second place in the table and took the runners up trophy, Well done Jamie.
In the adult event it was four heavy hitters in the Semi Finals with Justin Finch vs Elliott Bellefontaine in game one

After two highly completive games Justin and Chris Thomas would be our finalists
In a closely contested final Chris won the game by one goal to nil to retain this Masters title where he has now won this prestigious event ten times a great achievement in the English game.
