Its only 5 days to go until round 3 of the English Championships hosted by Pedmore Subbuteo & Table Football Club, where it is still all to play for in the adult’s competition, 9 out of the current top 10 players will be in attendance with only Justin Finch, the winner of the round 2 who will miss this round. The leaderboard is tight at the top, with Kevin Cordell in first place and Rudi Peters following in second, but it’s the fourth placed, Aaron Skinner who is the early event favourite due to an all-inclusive warm weather training camp in Tunisia.
In the youth competition current championships leader Jamies Warren will look to extend his lead at the top of the table, he was in fine form in the last round with some memorable results against Simon Bodily and Richard Badger to only name a few. Last years youth winner Gage Badger is sat in second place in the table and will be hoping to have another strong round, as will our other fantastic youth players Connor Gregory, Alex Scott and Max Pereira who is coming of the back of his excellence win in the Major of Paris.
The Pedmore Club cannot wait to welcome the 48 players to the Quarry Bank Social club for a fantastic round of Subbuteo Table Football.
Live draw details to follow tomorrow, which will be live on the Subbuteo Connection’s Facebook page from 7pm Friday 16th of February.
