Forgot this was on the cards until today, it was such a busy weekend! But all worth it for how big and positive we can make this annual event. Subbuteofest opened its doors once again, this time to over 80 players from all sorts of places to take part. Out of members on this list Chris Short made it the furthest in the Open with his 2nd place, whilst Bob Varney took the Veterans trophy over Martin Hodds and Hadley Chapman blitzed the Under 12s/16s.
There were many players from abroad that took part, which is a testament to the scale of our Grand Prix event! It's worth reminding here that only events between 2 english/english-adjacent players are taken into account with these rankings. We'll be back for it again next year! In the meantime, there are still two events before the FISTF season is over in England, first up being the Chasers Satellite in 2 weeks. Until then!
