Leicester to Launch FISTF Satellite

Leicester Foxes Subbuteo Club will be hosting a FISTF Satellite event on the weekend of the 27th & 28th of January 2024. Players from outside the top 100 in the FISTF ranking system will be travelling to Leicester from around Europe to play in the first FISTF Satellite completion to be played in England since Rudi Peterschinigg held this event at this Harrow Hawks Club pre-covid.

Alex Ashcroft and his fellow Leicester Foxes team are a bright light on the current Subbuteo scene hosting events like the Centre Spot WASPA Open and the recent Leicester Foxes 32 player WASPA that was won by England International Bob Varney.

The two-day event will offer a FISTF individual Open on Saturday 27th with the Plate completion being played under the WASPA banner.
